Indian Security

Whenever you go to an upmarket hotel or Mall you have to walk through a metal detector, be swiped with a metal detector wand and have your bag searched. If you arrive in a car, mirrors are rolled under to check there is no car bomb attached to the underside and the boot is checked.

Every time I walk through the metal detector, I always set it off. I am then swiped by the wand, which beeps furiously, a lady casts an eye into my bag without a proper check and then I am waved on.

Every time this happens, it’s all I can muster not to say out loud as I walk on, ‘Ha, yet again I manage to smuggle my AK-47s through tight Indian security!’
